Splice Coupling

Description
Polyflow developed the splice coupling to join two sections of Thermoflex® tubing without the need for a welder or creating joints with a flange or threaded couplings. The splice coupling permanently connects to two ends of pipe rapidly without any worries of weld defects, leaking seals or crevice corrosion associated with threaded couplings. Installation is rapid and done in the field with a portable machine.

Benefits
The benefits of Splice Couplings include:

• No field welding reduces installation time and costs
• No Joints
• Finish OD is the same as the Thermoflex tubing eliminating hang-ups while pulling through existing pipe or while pulling through a trench
• The connection can be pigged
• Installation is not weather dependent
• Coupling is 1.5 stronger than the tubing (The joint is not the weakness)
